Learning to ride a horse is an exciting, challenging & rewarding experience. At Gunnamatta Trail Rides we pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive learning environment facilitated by experienced and qualified instructors.
Our family (kids 13 and 15) hadn't been horse riding before and the beach ride was a great introduction. The staff were great and explained things very well, and the horses were lovely :) I had originally planned to book a 1hr ride, thinking that would be enough for a first time, but the 2hr beach ride was perfect (ended up 2.5 hours) - enough time to get comfortable walking and trotting, and experience both trail and beach. Highly recommend it, great holiday experience with teens.

I have ridden in the past but not for a long time .. my son had never been on a horse and was quite nervous but he loved it .. highly recommend for first-timers ❤️

They teach us how to ride horses easily and also take care of horses. All the way to the st Andrew beach, the view is spectacular. Amazing experience!
